Excellent cake and very delicious East Frisian tea. You can taste that love is baked here - better than in any pastry shop. The service was very attentive and friendly and had a good overview in all stress. Very highly recommended and definitely worth a second visit.

A wonderful break with East Frisian charm. Together with my friend I went to the Kluntje tea room today and went out with a big smile and much later. We enjoyed a pot of real East Frisian tea and an incredibly delicious waffle with red groats. Including: a warm host and a really cozy atmosphere. We could have spent the whole day in the Kluntje tea room. Gladly again!

Almost not found, the entrance is hidden on the side and on the back right. You feel like you are in a charming leap in time ... old furniture, beautiful crystal and crocheted doilies. The coffee is still brewed here, the cakes are homemade and really delicious.

The homemade cakes are top class. Quaint ambience, every table is different. Friendly staff, value for money is still consistent. Super clean toilets. All in all really worth a visit !!

Café located in an old house next to a windmill. It is comfortably furnished with a colorful selection of old dining tables and chairs as well as other old furniture. There are three to four kinds of cake, the Ostfriesentorte which we have chosen tasted good and of course there is Ostfriesentee or coffee. Unfortunately, the tables are quite narrow and when it is well attended it is unpleasantly loud.

Highly recommended, authentic Ostfriesentee and delicious homemade pies. We came to Aurich today on our geocaching round and were thirsty for a nice, well-kept cup of tea. By accident, we parked right opposite the tea room and looked for a coffee. All the more surprised we were that Google sent us directly across the street. The coffee is very nicely decorated with old furniture. The ambience is really appealing. The service is very friendly. Of course we ordered Ostfriesentee, the stem was really the name of the coffee with Kluntjes, cream and served on a warmer. In addition there was delicious homemade East Frisian cake. Anyone who comes here as a foreigner should keep in mind that East Frisian cake is made with rum-raisins. They can sometimes cut in quite a bit. A specialty of the house should also be the buckwheat waffles, which are served here with red fruit jelly and cream. We did not try the waffles, but it smelled delicious afterwards. We highly recommend this tearoom, as we felt very comfortable in the time we were here. Tea and cake was delicious there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Clear 5 stars.
